Members and Friends of Grace Church; It’s the time of the year when we partner with our local Leschi Elementary school and help them meet the needs of families in our community.
Every year we encourage our Members to support families in need of extra support during the winter and holiday season by giving items ranging from household goods to children’s toys.
Some of the items given in the past included basic essentials such as clothing, grocery store gift cards, bedding and diapers. The children received bikes, dolls, sports gear, art supplies, remote control toys, balls or books. A couple of hopeful teens, who only asked for one gift, an iPod, got a gift card to save towards that big ticket item!
We will have tags on the tree this Sunday if you are looking to participate. We also have a link to an online sign-up if you won’t make it to Church on Sunday.
